A new piece to the iNWS suite that I have developed for my work, AHPS Mobile is web/mobile web page and back end alerting system for the NWS river forecasts.

The design of AHPS mobile has to take into account the development of a robust web and mobile website that would allow users to view the NWS river forecasts while on the go.  This meant reading in large amounts of data to be "mobilized" and made available in an understandable format.

The other half of this project was developing a backend that was capable of reading a database ever few minutes with a complex query and sending out text messages (SMS) and e-mail alerts to subscribers to the web site.
